Launch of Wellcome Trust Darwin activities
On 3rd February, the Wellcome Trust launched their programme of initiatives to celebrate the Darwin anniversaries. Guests could see the Survival Rivals and Great Plant Hunt resources for schools, watch the animation of the Tree of Life and here about other Wellcome Trust initiatives.
Sir David Attenborough, who narrated the Tree of Life, was the keynote speaker. He heaped praise upon the Wellcome Trust's initiatives for primary and secondary schools.
